Controlling the distance is a basic part of building strategy which can be used both offensively and defensively. This video attempts to calculate distance in Guardian Tales Colosseum and build a general rule around it.

Note: There is a mistake on 0:53 where the height should be 4 and on 0:56 where the height should be 3. Guess I'm still a human after all lol. Diagonal number is still correct ;)
