Art At Home 021 - Watercolor Seascape

Описание к видео Art At Home 021 - Watercolor Seascape

Welcome to our twenty-first project for Art At Home with the Fullerton Community Center!

The sea in all its moods has been the inspiration for countless artists. English painter Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851) created some of art history’s most famous seascapes. He used a loose painting style to capture a given mood, making him an inspiration for future abstract artists. Check out Turner’s work at the Tate Gallery www.tate.org.uk. The Tate’s 2014 exhibit “Late Turner: Painting Set Free” is available for viewing online.

We will be using Turner’s late style as inspiration for our own watercolor seascape.

Let’s get started!
