Описание к видео Amish Tobacco Harvest In Lancaster County PA...Hanging in the Rafters

After the tobacco is brought in from the fields it needs to be hung to cure. The traditional place to cure the tobacco has been in the rafters of the barn. Tobacco rails will be laid across the rafters and the tobacco on the lathes or sticks will be laid across. Curing will take anywhere from 2-3 months.
