Proof of the "power rule": d/dx(x^r) =rx^(r-1) (r not zero)

Описание к видео Proof of the "power rule": d/dx(x^r) =rx^(r-1) (r not zero)

We start with proving the "power rule" (derivative of x^r = rx^(r-1)) for positive integers and then extend to rational exponents (use the chain rule and reciprocal rule). The "irrational exponent" proof uses logs and exponentials and is probably too much for a first pass. I did that last.
