What if kids could look forward to going to school? First-generation student, Gursimran Singh Dhindsa, questions the school system and talks about how to improve the system to fuel creativity and a motivation to learn for all students. Gursimran Dhindsa is a graduating high school student. He is a first-generation child of Sikh immigrants, and will be the first person in his family to attain a college degree. Gursimran is currently the President and co-founder of Sikh Honors and Service Society, Vice President of intramural sports, and he actively participates in cultural and volunteering activities in the Fremont Gurudwara. While he does have a passion to learn and excel in academics, Gursimran's also realized that a change needs to be made in the education system.
