Katrathu Kaialavu meets Sristi Foundation

Sristi Foundation, Konamangalam, TN near Pondicherry. It's a community created to hone the skills of the intellectually disabled and provide a safe space to make then independent. They are taught some valuable life skills like farming, dairy, poultry, cooking, cleaning, Mat making, dairy products, etc to sustain an independent future. A community that loves spending time together, celebrating all events and is exposed to international volunteers on a regular basis which is amazing exposure for the students and staff here. I’m a volunteer here :)

One of our staff members, Anand, follows the youtube channel - Katrathu Kaialavu - who travel and cook all over south india. He approached them to come to Sristi and they happily agreed to sponsor lunch for us! It was a lavish tasty meal - thanks again for such a beautiful gesture from the team of Katrathu Kaialavu!!
