On September 17, the Church celebrates Saint Hildegard of Bingen (1098–1179), a Benedictine abbess, mystic, writer, composer, and Doctor of the Church. 🎶📖✨

Hildegard let her light shine in many ways — through her music, her writings, her care for creation, and her deep love for God. She used all her gifts to glorify the Lord and to guide others closer to Him.

In this episode of Catechism for Kids, children will learn:
✅ Who Saint Hildegard of Bingen was
✅ How she used her talents to serve God and the Church
✅ Why Jesus calls us to “let our light shine” (Matthew 5:16)

Saint Hildegard reminds us that no matter what our talents are — whether singing, drawing, learning, or helping others — we can use them for God’s glory.
