Plastic Welding Basics - Repairing Damaged Kayak - Cracked Hull Repair - Landing Gear Mistake

Chalk this one up to a learning experience. There's a reason Old Town does NOT recommend installing landing gear on their canoes and kayaks...and I learned that lesson the hard way when I developed a crack in the hull of my Sportsman 120 PDL.

On this episode, I ordered a plastic welding kit from amazon and taught myself how to weld the damaged area and broken plastic with a welding gun, staples, and a little patience...
