Hello everyone and welcome to todays installment of Beyond The Mask. Today we're going to be taking a closer look at the events between Scream 4 and Scream 2022 and piecing together a very important aspect of the puzzle that links the stories together. More specifically we're going to be taking a closer look at how Sam Carpenter reacted to the 2011 killing spree in Woodsboro and how it impacted her life from that point on.

As most of you are aware, I'm currently in the process of novelizing the Scream franchise. One of the more interesting aspects to write for these books has been the aftermath of Jill and Charlie's killing spree in Scream 4. With that in mind, this information is my own work written into the Novelizations as a way to build up the lore and backstory that the movies didn't have time to explain.

Sam Carpenter discovered that Billy Loomis was her father at the age of 13 and chronologically speaking, by the time she was 13, Jill's Woodsboro killing spree was in full swing. Meaning the discussion of Ghostface and the previous killing sprees would have become a public talking point once again. The details on how Sam discovered the identity of her real Father are stated clearly on screen, however a brief moment at the end of my Scream 4 chapter titled "Aftermath" sheds some more light on the discovery and how it lead to the confrontation between Sam and her Mother.

So how did Jill impact Sam's life? How did she discover exactly who Billy Loomis was? Sit back and chill as I talk you guys through the moment that Sam Carpenter heard about Jill Roberts and her the true identity of her father, Billy Loomis.
