Video Description from Sylvia:
This video is for charity use.

In this video, you can listen to Yiruma's River Flows in You and Kiss the Rain. Instead of playing on the piano, I play these two pieces on wine glasses, using different volumes of water to change the frequency to make various notes.

Two soothing music pieces, River Flows in You and Kiss the Rain, are fused to raise funds and call for public attention to providing clean, safe and reliable water resources in poor areas.

Through joining the Amity Apprentice Quest for Living Water, I started to rethink the significance of water. It is worth noting that a myriad of people in the less developed countries do not have access to clean water resources. Travelling a long distance several times has become their daily routine in a bid to get water for drinking, cooking and cleaning.

After watching my video, I hope that all of you can get to know this "special" application of water. Nothing worth comes easy. Hope you will appreciate my hard work and share this video with your friends and relatives to solicit more funds.

What are 3 things I have learnt in this programme?
1. Never give up
In the beginning, I once thought of quitting the program halfway through. However, after I have finished recording the music video, I gained a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. All the effort made is worthwhile. The video looks much better than I thought. When we keep faith in ourselves and be confident, success will be around the corner!

2. Think out of the box
It was really hard to think of a quest relating to water when I first glanced at the topic. All the associated quests about water on the Internet are quite different from what I anticipated. I decided to test my limits and tried something complex -- playing glass music.

3. Being grateful for having stable and clean drinking water and sanitation
Water is one of the basic rights and necessities of every person, regardless of their race and creed. We have access to reliable water resources on the first day we were born. Alas, 6% of the world population did not have access to safe water in 2020. One-third of the total water production is wasted every day in Hong Kong. We should not take water for granted and should save as much water as we can. Every drop of water counts!

It is more blessed to give than to receive. Don't hesitate. Donate now!
