-25ºC Overnight & Snow Storm Testing | 2018 Ford Focus Electric in Québec

Описание к видео -25ºC Overnight & Snow Storm Testing | 2018 Ford Focus Electric in Québec

I left my 2018 Ford Focus Electric outside for 24 hours when it was -18°C (-25°C with the windchill) to see if the range and battery are affected by not being plugged in for a short time.

This video was made possible with the support of Elmec and their EVduty Smart Home Charger. You can schedule, control access, and even see your estimated charging costs from the EVduty smartphone app. Use public charging stations and grant access to your own all from the app. For more information about the EVduty Smart Home Charger visit: https://www.elmec.ca/language/en/

One thing I’ve always wondered with electric vehicles was how much range is lost purely due to cold temperatures. 24 hours before filming this episode it felt like -25° outside. I made sure the car was fully charged and ready to go before parking it on the driveway. We go over how much range was lost overnight and do some winter testing with the Focus Electric during a snow storm.
