In this varnam the nayika says, "My Dear friend, why this trick? Please ask my Lord to come here as this is the right time. He is the one who lives in the hill of Tirumala, holding the Shanka and the Chakra. Even if the entire Universe is destroyed, I would not forget him. I am definite that he would shower his grace upon me. He is the young Gopala, who relieved the problems of the Pandavas, the one who clothed Mother Panchali, the one who defeated deceitful Ravana with the help of valorous Hanuman. I shall meditate upon him and he himself will come, marry me."
