संभल और चंदौसी की तरह यूपी के कई शहरों में हिंदू सभ्यता के सबूत खोजे जा रहे हैं। वाराणसी और कानपुर के मुस्लिम बहुल इलाकों से दो मंदिर सामने आए हैं। ये वो मंदिर हैं जो मुस्लिम आबादी बढ़ने के साथ-साथ विलुप्त कर दिए गए थे। आज ये दोनों मंदिर दुनिया के सामने आकर, अपने होने का प्रमाण दे रहे हैं।
