Spiral is located in Sofitel, Manila. It was quite a distance from BGC, Manila. It took us about a 25 - 30 minute ride via Grab due to bad traffic (which is common in Philippines). Best to make reservations via the website as the restaurant was fairly filled up by the time it reached 7.00pm. We were there at exactly 6.00pm, the restaurant opening time thus we could take a walk around, perusing the many food and deciding which items we would like to try. Our table was located beside a water feature, and near a trio of musicians who were performing live music throughout the night. It can get a little loud so if you can, request for a table away from the musicians.

00:40 - 00:48 Chinese Wok (Singapore Chili Crab was available, and accompanied by mantou for dipping.)
00:48 - 01:22 Filipino (A carver was carving the meat from the pig - Lechon and it was one of the best I’ve heard thus far. The skin was crispy, and the meat was moist and tender).
1:49 - 01:52 Korean (Samgypsal sets were available - these consisted of strips of pork belly, 2 - 3 banchan. They would BBQ the meat for you once you’ve selected a set.)
01: 54 - 01:56 Thai (I love Pad Thai however I did not get a chance to try it as there was just too much food choices, and others that I preferred keeping my stomach for. If you want Pad Thai, they will prepare it on the spot for you so you’ll get it piping hot.)
01:57 - 2:00 Steam Baskets (One of my favourite dishes for the night was the double-boiled soup. It’s not easy to find double-boiled soups in Manila, and they take time to prepare thus I had two bowls of it to satisfy my craving.)
02:01 - 02:14 Asian Noodles (They had Laksa! If I wasn’t that full, I”d have had a bowl of Laksa.)
02:20 - 02:36 Peking Duck Oven (Best thing: they wrap it for you so you just have to pop it into your mouth!)
02:37 - 03:01 Salads & Appetisers (They had a wide variety of veggies available to create your own salad. What interested me was the appetisers!)
03:02 - 03:24 L’Ecailler (Fresh seafood such as lobsters, prawns, crabs, other shellfish were available. You can select sauces to accompany your seafood such as mayo.)
03:25 - 03:45 Sushi Sashimi (One of the freshest, thickest cuts of Salmon that I had two servings as well. There was other sashimi available such as tuna, octopus.)
03:46 - 04:19 L’Epicerie (One of the best things about this buffet was this cheese room. First time I’ve encountered an entire room filled with cheese and charcuterie - and it is your choice. If there’s a particular cheese you like but you don’t see it displayed, you can request for it. If they have it, they’ll open it and cut a few slices for you.)
04:20 - 04:49 La Boulangerie (There were sides to go with the bread such as olives and sun-dried tomatoes. There were a few spreads like truffle butter. And a wide variety of bread to choose from.)
05:01: 05:25 (Indian) They had biryani! If you ever go, please let know in the comments - how good it was!
05:25 - 05:34 Churrasco (Skewered meat - some of them did not look too exciting thus we decided not to waste stomach space to it.)

05:55 - 06:37 French Stove (The truffle mashed potato was so good - I would have had seconds if I wasn’t full.)
06:38 - 07:08 Hot Japanese (Assorted tempura - they even had oyster tempura! Sukiyaki beef - a tad overcooked).
07:19 - 08:01 La Patisserie (There were so many cakes - and they were really good. You know how most times you go to a buffet, looking forward to the dessert but being disappointed as it may look good, it doesn’t taste good.)
08:02 - 08:07 Creamery (Ice-Cream! Who does not love ice-cream? You cae have it served in an ice-cream cone.)
