For this hike in Riverside State Park I started at the ORV Park and followed trail 25 north to Deep Creek. From there I loosely followed the 25, meandering my way over to the Bowl and Pitcher where I headed back to the ORV Park via the chimney route up to the overlook. I strolled north along the centennial trail which quickly linked me up with the 210. A skinny, little, whipper-snapper is about to break right here, so I stopped and tried to capture the carnage on film. Maybe next time.

A coyote bumbled along the 210 about fifty yards in front of me, just barely giving me enough time to pull out my phone and wildly zoom in and out for a few embarrassingly long seconds. I merged back with the 25 and then high tailed it onto the 201 and followed Old Trails road back to the ORV trailhead to finish my hike.

The route up to the overlook is steep and not fun. Not advised to go up there by yourself. Better ways exist, but I was committed once I started. It's surprisingly solid if you watch your step and take your time. Again, don't go up there unless you like lava rocks in your shoes and sacrificing small sections of skin for a mildly good view.
