Newsweek Senior Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer claims he is optimistic about Republican nominee Donald Trump’s election prospects.

Mr Hammer referred to a recent New York Times poll showing Donald Trump gaining an edge over Kamala Harris in one key section.

“So, you know, they (the Democrats) are trying to gaslight us and make us forget that Kamala Harris is the active Vice President,” Mr Hammer told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
