Hey everyone, Paul here. this was one of my early experiments with melting aluminum cans.
These days, I don’t recommend using cans as a metal source. they’re the wrong alloy for casting and can cause porosity issues, plus it doens't flow as well as a proper aluminum alloy like A356.
But this experiment still shows how flux helps separate aluminum from dross.

Today i show you how to get the most metal out of melting aluminum cans at home. I use the improved mini metal foundry i made in another video, and turn my recycling into pure ingots. Also there are some tips to improve the metal easily for better results.
