This appearance of Sigmund Frog (Mary's performing alias) aired on the Feb 16th, 1981 episode of the decently-popular Canadian TV show simply called "Circus". 27 year-old Wengrzyn's specialty act of barrel contortion and enterology was always performed in full frog costume, designed to hide her femininity as much as possible for a surprise face-reveal at the end of the performance, and aside from slight costuming changes with the years, the only change came in the size of the barrel. When Mary began the act, it was with a 13 inch diameter barrel. At the end of her known career, it was 10 inches in diameter. Despite the presenter identifying the act as "Miss Froggy", there is no other source which backs up this characterization, particularly since Mary's intention was to leave the gender of the frog ambiguous or bent. Therefore, this was likely a presentation choice by the show's producers to simplify the show.
