Devil Blade Reboot - 1 LIFE (1CC no death) - Normal

Devil Blade Reboot (デビルブレイド リブート) is finally out on Steam!
Old obscure Shoot Em Up developed on PS1 by a guy from Vanillaware and frankly, it didn't disappoint me!
I love the atmosphere of the title with nods to RayForce and Radiant Silvergun. The atmosphere is great and the patterns are original and varied. It's not too long (around twenty minutes) but well-paced, I just found stage 4 at the R-Type a little below.
There's one weapon that fires in a spread and a second, more concentrated shot that slows down the speed of the ship. You can move from one to the other by pressing a button, there are also bombs and a shield that you can pick up.
For the moment I have only played survival, I have to get to grips with the scoring system which looks nice with a berserk gauge, and the fact that I have to stick to the enemies.
The normal mode is very accessible, it took me 3 tries for the 1 life. I have to dig into the higher difficulty levels (I also saw that there is a retro mode but I don't know how to unlock it).
This Shmup is great.

Without using any cheat codes, TAS, save state nor autofire. The video was recorded in a single take and uploaded unedited. 60FPS 4K.
