I started to make this video over a month ago... For some reason the screen is blinking at some points, I don't know why but it doesn't affect the sound so whatever let's just upload it like that.

Seagate U4 sounds are really nostalgic for me and I really like it. Spindle is pretty quiet and the seeking is somewhat loud and very recognizable! While the 4GB capacity may make it less interesting than some older drives, the way the seeking sounds like is one of my favorite!

a 8GB U4 was in a PC that a family member gave me when I was still a kid, it was my first drive that was large enough to store the Sims game, I was soo happy when I got it then, finally I could play it!! Sadly that 8GB U4 is one of the drives that died when I wanted badly to get a working open drive at that time... Maybe someday I'll get another 8GB one. It was sounding basically identical to the 4GB one I recorded here though.

This 4GB exemple is the 3rd of them I have now, all 3 having no bad or reallocated sectors, even this one that came in that crazy big box with no protection! The 1st time I powered it up it made unhappy clicking sounds but it didn't happen again on any subsequent restart and as seen in the video it seems to have no issues.
