Gekisen! Minami Taiheiyou/激戦！南太平洋 (Nec Pc-8001, 1983, Enix/Osamu Hasegawa)

This is Gekisen! Minami Taiheiyou/激戦！南太平洋 for Nec Pc-8001 and this is a war game taking place in the South Pacific where in the first men you have to shoot as many helicopters as you can however the bullets have a limit. Have no worries as a transporter carrying a cargo will come to you and has to be caught or failure to do so will be stuck in the water but you can use the hook to carry it back up then bring it to the island to replenish your ammo. The catch here is that when using the hook on the cargo a quarter is added but if your able to bring it to the island dry then it will be full. Just do it three times for nine others that will be given. Once you done it your able to move on to the next pattern where you use a tank shooting at soldiers, planes, helicopters, cactus and tanks. You also have the transporter here on your side throughout this scrolling section because if you run out of oil it will explode, when the transporters turn from blue to yellow it's about to deliver oil to you after it changes from red to blue. While on the way mines are planted on the ground and can only be removed by debris when the enemies are shot. You can control the angle of where you want the tank to shoot at directly while shooting straight. You have seven chances, and this game is long with some good action. This is a really awesome game Enix made, and you try it out as well despite the limits of the Nec Pc-8001 it is very creative.
