Tour of Idaho FINISHER - 2019 Husqvarna FE 501 bike and gear review - successful 2021 TOI

This is a review of the equipment on my 2019 FE 501 to include tires, bags, lights and the gear I brought along. This is a full breakdown while my bike is still dirty, tires are worn and my bags unopened from getting home.

I’ll show you exactly what I had and my thoughts on the gear.

UPDATE: KLIM did warranty my boots, thankfully, so all is good. They are perfect for a trip like this.

My headlight situation, I found 4 broken wires in the wire harness that runs along the right side of the frame. Its a design flaw for sure and they get weak from the bars turning side to side and eventually the wires break. After I fixed the broken wires, my headlight worked amazing again. I don't believe any issue I had was the fault of the light, just the broken wires. I think I was chasing the shorts in the wires for quite some time.

Also, I said "we" a lot. I was talking about my buddy and me, not myself in plural form. That drives me nuts so I wanted to clarify that because I knew what I meant but watching this video it might not be clear.
