An evening with Andrew Jefford

Andrew Jefford is one of the most celebrated drinks writers in the world. He has won eight Louis Roederer writing awards and eight Glenfiddich awards during his career which has included many books and over 30 years writing for Decanter magazine.

Andrew Jefford is, in the words of winemaker Randall Grahm, ‘the most thoughtful person we have writing about wine’ and his recently released book, ‘Drinking with the Valkyries’, is no exception.

In this free online event, Andrew is joined by Anna Spooner from The Tastings team as he talks through some of the highlights of the essays in his book, explores his journey through journalism and, of course, his favourite Wine Society wines.

Andrew has selected some wines for members to ‘taste along’ with him throughout the evening which can be found below. Although they won’t be essential to enjoy the event, we do encourage you to have something delicious in your glass as you hear from one of the leading voices in the world of wine.
