2007 - 2013 Toyota Tundra Parking Brake Adjustment

Proper procedure on how to adjust the parking brake on a 2007-2013 (2nd gen) Toyota Tundra pickup truck. This procedure will ensure that your defunct from the factory parking brake will work as designed.

Follow the instructions EXACTLY as shown in the video. Simply tightening the cable does nothing to make the parking brake stronger or more effective. Procedure is IDENTICAL for ALL models of Tundra years 2007-2013.

This procedure is LIKELY the same for 2014+ models as well as Toyota to my knowledge has NOT changed their parking brake designs for their 3rd gen Tundra.

My procedure not only makes the parking brake very effective but also firms up the parking brake pedal feel.
