CZ 75 Czechmate 9mm Open Gun - Recoil Spring Tuning

Описание к видео CZ 75 Czechmate 9mm Open Gun - Recoil Spring Tuning

I did some recoil spring testing with my new CZ Czechmate. I started with a baseline using the stock recoil spring at 13lbs, and worked downwards in 1lb increments down to 9lbs. This was not a very scientific process! I did a combination of slow fire, doubles, and some bill drills and went with my instincts on what I felt. The 11lb spring seemed like a good balance, it seemed to ease the slide snapping forward as hard and caused less dot movement, but still kept the slide from impacting rearward too hard. The dot seemed to stay on the glass through the entire recoil impulse with the 11 and 10 lb. The 10lb felt great too, but I'm not sure how bad it would hammer the frame over time without running some kind of recoil buffer. They both felt great, but the 11 stuck in my mind as the best for whatever reason. Hopefully this vid will help other Czechmate owners with their own recoil spring tuning. The 9mm Major load I was shooting was made with Xtreme 124gn RN projectiles, 7.0gn of CFE Pistol, mixed brass with Winchester Small Pistol Primers. This load achieves around 168 +/- power factor. (DO NOT USE THIS AS A RECIPE, AS ALWAYS, CAREFULLY WORK UP YOUR OWN LOAD!) I plan on experimenting with 115gn projectiles to run more powder for the comp, and I may end up posting another vid when I do.
