Oscar Cichlid | Growth Rate & Evolution

This video highlights the Oscar cichlid's growth rate from less than 1 inch to about 8 inches today. I also discuss details on growth rates and tips to make sure your fish are healthy and growing. This came from our own experience keeping Oscar fish, paired with research and discussions with other hobbyists.

Oscar cichlids are awesome South American cichlids due to their incredible personalities and great color. Oscars can get huge and their max size can be around 12-15 inches. Due to this, their growth rates are accelerated and they need large tanks.
