George Gruhn Speaks His Mind

George Gruhn is an iconic figure in the world of guitar retail - having helmed Gruhn Guitars in Nashville TN for over 50 years.

I had no intention of filming when I flew out to Nashville in November 2022. I was there on assignment for a magazine but I brought my cameras and a couple of tiny DPA lavalier mics just in case. While my stay in the Music City was only a few short days on this occasion I wanted to get as much done as possible and one speculative message later I was invited to spend an afternoon with George himself.

This conversation - hopefully the first of many - is the result.
