হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে সাড়ে ৬ কোটি টাকার স্বর্ণসহ এক যাত্রীকে আটক করেছে শুল্ক গোয়েন্দা ও তদন্ত অধিদপ্তর। মঙ্গলবার রাতে তাকে আটক করা হয়।দুবাই থেকে আসা এমিরেটস এয়ারওয়েজের একটি ফ্লাইটের যাত্রী, রেখা পারভীনের কাছ থেকে ৮ কেজি ২১৭ গ্রাম ওজনের স্বর্ণের বার ও অলংকার জব্দ করেন শুল্ক গোয়েন্দারা। যার বাজার মূল্য ৬ কোটি ৫৭ লাখ ৩৬ হাজার টাকা।

Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation has detained a passenger with gold worth Tk 6.5 crore at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. She was detained on Tuesday night. Customs sleuths seized gold bars and ornaments weighing 8 kg 217 grams from Rekha Parveen, a passenger on an Emirates Airways flight from Dubai. Its market value is 6 crore 57 lakh 36 thousand taka.
