Lap of my trackday at Snetterton 300 in a Rover 216 GTi Twin Cam with MGs on Track 15/05/2023

First trackday with the Rover I Purchased a few months back after Darren carried out a full body restoration while I carried out the remaining mechanical jobs. The car is one of the original race cars made by Rover for the 1991 Rover 216 GTi Dunlop challenge and still has most of the original race parts fitted over than the steering wheel and harness for safety reasons. Wasn't going to mad as was first time I'd driven the car and I'm pretty sure it probably hasn't been used since late 90's or early 2000's. Plan is to get a bit more seat time and do a few Races in the future in Class A of the MG Cup. Unfortunately for me was a busy day with one 20 minute session per hour track time so wasn't much clear track and after dinner the last started losing power and experiencing high coolant temp switch after a bit of investigation turned out to be at failed head gasket.
