Our honourable keynote speaker Md. Rasheduzzaman Al Amin,a Ph.D candidate at Polytechnique Montreal,delivered his valuable expertise.

The event on mobile network technology advancements compared 4G and 5G, highlighting 5G's superior data transfer speeds, reduced latency, and support for numerous devices via massive MIMO and mobile mmWave. Key challenges and the evolution of 5G standards were discussed. Advantages of connected antenna arrays (CAAs) and integration of microwave and mmWave antennas were emphasized, featuring metal rim slot CAA, on-package single slot CAA (SSCAA), and double slot CAA (DSCAA). The importance of slot-based shared aperture antenna systems and multi-layer stackup designs for compact, efficient antennas in modern devices was underscored.

Prof. Dr. A K M Baki (Advisor,IEEE SPS & IEEE ComSoc Joint SB Chapter,AUST) were present and conveyed his insights about this event.A token of appreciation was given to the speaker, and the event wrapped up with a lively and interactive Q&A session.
