If you're thinking of buying a ScanNCut or upgrading...read this first 🙂

My recommended mid level machine is the SDX135. In the UK it's available from Brother sewing dealers - I highly recommend doing a google search.

It's a better machine than the SDX900 and the SDXTL Tattered Lace and the 135 is on sale currently with loads of extras.

I don't like the teeny tiny screen on the SDX900 and the SDXTL - it's even smaller than the original CM300 (the CM300 had a screen size of 3.75" and the SDX900 has a screen size of 3.50".)

The SDX135 has a couple of extra fonts than the SDX900 and the SDXTL, the new mat feed roller system as well as the same large 5" screen that's on the more expensive models.

I have the SDX135 myself and it's a superb machine - it can use all the kits same as the more expensive models and will also take the new rotary fabric blade.
