The Counter Extremism Group (CEG) hosted an evening with Professor Sir David Omand, Former Permanent Secretary of the Home Office and Director of GCHQ and Lord Carlile of Berriew, Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation (2001–2011) in conversation with Lord Walney, UK government’s independent adviser on political violence and disruption on 3rd September 2024 in London.

This event is part of CEG’s Young Leaders in National Security Fellowship programme which identifies and supports young people interested in counter-terrorism and counter-extremism issues.
