The Walking Dead: The Complete Season 1 is an episodic point-and-click role-playing adventure interactive drama graphic adventure video game developed and published by Telltale Games. Based on Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic book series featuring Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes. The game consists of five episodes including a special episode 400 Days.

The game takes place in the same fictional world as the comic, with events occurring shortly after the onset of the zombie apocalypse in Georgia. However, most of the characters are original to the game, which centers on university professor and convicted criminal Lee Everett, who rescues and subsequently takes care of a young girl named Clementine as they join a group of survivors. Kirkman provided oversight for the game's story to ensure it corresponded to the tone of the comic but allowed Telltale to handle the bulk of the developmental work and story specifics. Some characters from the original comic book series also make in-game appearances.

You play the role of Lee Everett who has been given a second chance at life in a world devastated by the undead. With corpses returning to life and survivors stopping at nothing to maintain their own safety, protecting Clementine may offer Lee redemption in a world gone to hell. Experience events meet people and visit locations that foreshadow the story of Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes. Experience a dark, visceral and emotional series where every action and decision you make can result in the story changing around you. This tailored experience means that your story could be very different to that of someone else. Your actions, choices and decisions you make will affect how your story plays out across the entire series. The story will be affected by both your dialogue choices and your actions during quick time events, which can often lead to, for example, certain characters being killed, or an adverse change in the disposition of a certain character or characters towards Lee. The choices made by you carry over from episode to episode.
