EXPLORING THE MOON: FROM EARTH, FROM SPACE AND FROM THE LUNAR SURFACE

Online Science Café hosted by the KITION PLANETARIUM & OBSERVATORY.
Guest speaker: William Joyce (UK).

The Moon is accessible to anyone observing through binoculars or a telescope. It is also surveyed scientifically from satellites, and astronauts have visited the lunar surface and soon will do so again.

This discussion provided a grand tour and included a little of all these methods of exploring our wonderful Moon. The talk included stunning imagery, a little science, and outlines some of what we know, and still don’t know, about our closest neighbor in space.
