A229 Pro 3 camera beta firmware upgrade.

IOS app updated to V4.2.3 Fixed 21:9 app closing.

This is a beta version of a new feature added firmware (The software that makes the dashcam do what it does.)
To get the third channel to work go into the onscreen menu and drill down to the reset dashcam option.
Its located new the end of all the settings just before the information about the firmware version.

After the firmware menu reset the rear camera stayed upside down. I used camera menu to change its setting.
Features that have been add
Now you can turn on/off HDR for front and rear camera
There is also an auto option when selected uses the time of day setting to enable and disable it.
e.g. Turn on at Dusk and off at sunrise. This is the prefered times to get the best out of HDR.

A very new feature is the ability to use the bluetooth button to control other settings in the camera as well as doing the screen lock feature it has.
I haven't seen the new bluetooth unit but I believe it has 2 extra buttons on it.

The A229 Pro has been working reliably with all three cameras capturing clear images.
Depending of the time of day or night there is some blurring. The brighter the day the better the quality of the video.
I think you will find this is the case with many dashcams.
