Charlie is Taken Off The Ventilator | Saving Hope

After Dawn revealed that she is petitioning for a DNR order, Alex and she await a legal decision on whether to resuscitate Charlie. Dawn wins the case and Charlie is taken off the ventilator.

From Season 1 Episode 8 “Heartsick”: Whilst Alex and Dawn await a legal decision over Charlie’s DNR petition, they must work together on a heart transplant surgery. The donor is a deceased prisoner that Charlie must help “cross over” by trying to make peace with his heart. Joel and Maggie continue their rocky relationship, even though Joel still has feelings for Alex. This tension allows Gavin to step-up and make a move on her, leading to a kiss between them. Dawn wins the case and Charlie is taken off the ventilator.
