Over the past few years Glen Hansard has organized the “Christmas Busk” on Grafton Street in Dublin, as a simple way to gather friends and play music. While the busk has grown over the years, it’s goal has remained the same—to raise awareness and money for the homeless in Dublin particularly the Simon Community http://bit.ly/12naTki. Profits from recent shows in Cork and Dublin also went to Right2Homes http://right2homes.com and Peter McVarry Trust https://www.pmvtrust.ie
