CORAL ISLAND

Coral Island is a 2023 farm life sim developed by Stairway Games and published by Humble Games.

Stairway Games is an independent game creation studio located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with a team of multinational developers.

Stairway Games was founded in May 2019 from a love of games and to push the Indonesian game industry forward.

Their dedication is responsible for the creation of Coral Island.

Their main website includes a monthly development blog and team member photos.

Yugo Pratomo (Yogyakarta, Indonesia) is their lead composer for Coral Island.

Coral Island plays similarly to Stardew Valley and is set on a tropical island.

Players control a character who has become disenchanted with city life.

After moving to a small farming community on a tropical island, they are given an overrun farm to work.

Besides fixing up the farm and planting crops, players can explore a nearby mine, where they can find rare resources guarded by monsters; talk to and romance the non-player characters; donate rare items to a local museum; and clean up a toxic oil spill, which is functionally similar to exploring the mine.

Players can also recycle trash to gain resources.

LAKE TEMPLE

The Lake Temple is a mysterious temple that has been on the island for a while.

The player can find it at the lake in the northeastern part of the island.

There are 4 altars that require 6 offerings each, which can be completed in any order.

Each offering requires 4-6 different items.

After completing the Mythical Dream quest, the player can make offerings at the crop altar.

Any offerings made will contribute 45 heritage points.

Certain unlocks and rewards will be given based on the amount of total offering completed, regardless of altar.
