William Rodgers Fighting Knife or dagger restoration

Описание к видео William Rodgers Fighting Knife or dagger restoration

This video features the restoration of a William Rodgers fighting knife estimated to be around 80 years old. Said condition was very poor with a broken blade plus other severe injuries.
I understand that William Rodgers was based in Birmingham England and still exists albeit under a different name.
These knives I think were not military issue but commercially available. Many soldiers purchased these for their active service during WW2.
Military issue was supplied by Sykes Fairbairn and was very similar to the knife restored in this video

The knife had a family connection...so this restoration has been very satisfying.
Leather sheath was made by a shoe repair shop to my design and with me supplying the leather.
