40,000 Year Old Unknown Stone Age Culture In China?

Описание к видео 40,000 Year Old Unknown Stone Age Culture In China?

In Northern China archaeologists have discovered evidence pointing to a previously unknown Palaeolithic culture of Homo sapiens in the area.
This discovery was made at a previously discovered Palaeolithic site known as Xiamabei in the Nihewan Basin.
The Nihewan Basin in Northern China is well known for its Palaeolithic sites ranging in age between 2 million years old and 10,000 years old.
Of course as you can imagine more than one species of human lived in the area over the course of nearly 2 million years.
My personal educated guess would be that Homo erectus would have definitely lived in the area, there’s quite a high probability that Denisovans and Neanderthals lived in the area as well for at least a short while and evidence has shown that Homo sapiens arrived in the area around 40,000 years ago.
