Alpaka Go Sling Mini V2 in X-Pac 5L Review:

This video is my review of the 5L Alpaka Go Sling Mini V2 in X-Pac, based on a two week testing period.

In a couple of months, I’m going to visit my brother in Sydney for a one week trip, and I was looking for a sling that I can use as a pocket replacement when I’m at the airport and for EDC when I arrive at my destination. The sling should easily carry my travel documents, passport, phone, wallet, powerbank and airpods, as well as bulkier items, such as my Sony A6000 with Sigma 16mm f1.4 lens and an additional Sony 35mm f1.8 lens. The sling also needs to be able to carry my Kindle, but it shouldn’t be too large that it’s awkward on my chest.

Aside from airport use, I want the sling to serve as a small EDC bag (that can also carry a waterbottle and an umbrella at the same time) while we explore the city. The first brand that came to mind was Australia’s own Alpaka!

I reached out to Marlim Gear, the first official online retailer of Alpaka here in the Philippines, and they were kind enough to send me a few slings to test and review! The sling the stood out was the 5L Alpaka Go Sling Mini V2 in X-Pac!
