Shape Properties, Cadillac Fairview and GBL Architects are redeveloping CF Richmond Centre 27-acre area into a mixed-use, master-planned community. New open-air street fronts with shops, restaurants, and entertainment will be added, transforming CF Richmond Centre from a top-calibre shopping centre into a complete shopping destination. Over 150,000 sq ft of amenities include serene outdoor sky gardens and tranquil public spaces nestled amongst lively streets.

There will be 12 new mid-rise buildings reaching a height no greater than 14 storeys or 148 ft, with retail space located within the lower floors, and residential space within the upper floors. This will result in 2,297 homes, entailing 1,956 market ownership units, 200 market rental units, and 141 affordable rental units. Mobility hubs will be added to address alternative forms of transportation. (Phase 1: +900 homes; Phase 2: +1,100 homes).

Phase 1 construction began in 2019 with an estimated three to four years required for completion. Construction of Phase 2 began in 2022. Final completion is estimated to be late 2026.

It is located across from a Canada Line Station; nearby is the City Hall, Minoru Park and the YVR International Airport (15 mins away).
