I'm TheRealCasadaro and I am a Veteran, Web Developer and former Junior Dev Ops Engineer.

This is the first part in a growing 7 part series on the Terminal and PowerShell for new and beginning web developers. The PowerShell Series is a part of a larger Web Development Course for new and beginning developers that I am working on.

If you want to become a modern day Witch , Warlock, Wizard or Sorcerer and earn the money and respect that come along that, Learning to use the terminal / Shell to navigate and control computer systems and networks is essential.

The Web Development Industry is growing at upwards of 15% per year with the median pay being $32.69 per hour and $67,990 per year this is a massive opportunity for allot of people. Never mind the fact you don't need a college degree!

Along with this, once you have learned the fundamentals of building web apps, you can build any app you can image, for any device you can imagine. Not only that you will then have the confidence to learn and do just about anything you can imagine.

I have chosen PowerShell as my terminal app of choice because it is one of the most tools available today and will give you the power to work just about anywhere and do pretty much anything.

Being a Shell and a Scripting Environment, PowerShell gives you the power to do just about anything you can imagine with a computer.

While at Microsoft, I used a laptop to control thousands of servers around the world. Modern day hackers are doing the same thing whenever you hear about some data breach or large scale network attack.

In The PowerShell Primer series I walk you through the basics powerShell, and teach you some of what I learned to do with powerShell, both in my free time and while working as a Junior Dev Ops Engineer at Microsoft.

This information is designed to give you a starting point and make you comfortable working in the command line.

If you want to be able to do what others can't do and live the way others can't live, you're going to have to do things others aren't willing to do and go places other aren't willing to go.

Together we can learn how deep the rabbit hole goes.
