Описание к видео San Antonio vs. Oklahoma City Final Score Spurs take back end home-and-home series in Christmas day

The San Antonio Spurs delivered one of their most complete performances of the young season on Christmas Day, answering back emphatically in their home-and-home series with the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder by securing a convincing 117–102 road victory. On a national stage, the Spurs showcased a blend of offensive efficiency, defensive intensity, and collective poise that ultimately proved too much for Oklahoma City to overcome.
The moment that crystallized the night came late, when reigning Rookie of the Year Stephon Castle rose up and drilled a confident stepback jumper over Shai Gilgeous-Alexander—a move reminiscent of the Thunder star’s own signature shot-making. The basket effectively sealed the game, silencing the crowd and snuffing out any lingering comeback hopes for Oklahoma City.
San Antonio’s path to victory was anything but smooth early. The Thunder stormed out of the gates with a blistering offensive display, opening the game by hitting nine of their first 10 shots. Rather than being rattled, the Spurs absorbed the initial surge and responded with precision and patience. De’Aaron Fox set the tone, pouring in 13 points in the first quarter, including a perfect 3-for-3 performance from beyond the arc, as the Spurs matched Oklahoma City bucket for bucket during a frenetic opening stretch.
The two teams traded blows in a breathtaking six-minute span that featured 45 combined points, with Oklahoma City spreading its offense through its talented starting lineup while Fox and Castle combined for eight early baskets. Key contributions from Victor Wembanyama, Dylan Harper, and Fox allowed San Antonio to maintain control despite the Thunder’s hot shooting, and the Spurs closed the opening quarter with a 41–36 lead.
The second quarter remained tense and physical. Oklahoma City repeatedly threatened to swing momentum, but every push was met with a decisive response from San Antonio. Castle and Fox continued to orchestrate the offense, while Gilgeous-Alexander kept the Thunder afloat through his ability to draw fouls and score in tough situations. Even so, the Spurs stayed composed, executing efficiently on both ends and heading into halftime with a solid 69–60 advantage.
Offense became harder to come by in the third quarter, but that shift worked in San Antonio’s favor. The Spurs leaned into defense, effort, and physicality, gradually tightening their grip on the game. Stops turned into transition opportunities, and the edge in intensity became unmistakable. Back-to-back dunks from Harper and Keldon Johnson punctuated the stretch, sending a clear message as San Antonio extended its lead to 95–79 entering the final quarter.
