Track Description...

"The New York and Long Branch Division was one of the last places where steam was employed in passenger service by the Pennsy. Here at Sea Girt, NJ, the K4 starts Train No. 714, consisting of 1 combine and 6 coaches, and quickly gathers speed amid the echoes of the bouncing from passing buildings close to the tracks. The whistle is then used to make two grade crossing signals - the sound and tone so typical of this class of locomotive, at one time used over the main lines of the entire Pennsy system. The safety valve pops off soon after the engineer closes his throttle preporatory tot he station stop at Spring Lake, New Jersey."
