Brad Corrupts: Super Mario Bros. 3 Volume 1

Unfamiliar with Super Mario Bros 3? Wait, really? No, just no, I'm not even going to humor posting an uncorrupted version, GTFO.

Using a Python script, Brad takes your favorite 8-bit NES games and scrambles the bytes. These are the results.

Well, here it is! This is the surprise. Super Mario Bros 3 is one of the most well known and most popular video game titles, requested by 89152019. Of course I was going to do this, but he wanted it done now. Also, I will be doing three volumes. This one consists of 128 byte corruptions (standard.) The other two will be 64 and 32 bytes, respectively. Let's see which ones will provide the best corruptions!

Also, as you may have noticed, I'm trying out a couple of new things. First off, I have encoded this in HD. It's something that I've thought about doing for a while, and I decided what better time to do it than now. Why, you may ask? Well, it's because of the fact that the NES' pixels that you see on the TV screen are, in fact, slightly rectangular, and there's some distortion when the raw NES footage is stretched to 480p. Due to the lower resolution, some rows will have two pixels per NES pixel, while other rows will have 3, etc, and it's really noticeable when the game is scrolling. By encoding to 1080p, that effect is less... pronounced. Anyway, if you guys feel I should continue in HD, by all means let me know. Just know that it takes longer for me to encode, and it takes a lot longer for youtube to process.
