Avalanche Trade SHOCKER: Georgiev OUT, Blackwood IN!

The Colorado Avalanche made a BOLD move on Monday, trading for San Jose Sharks goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood in exchange for Alexandar Georgiev, Nikolai Kovalenko, a 2025 fifth-round draft pick and a 2026 second-round pick. The Avs also received Givani Smith and a fifth-round draft pick in the 2027 NHL Draft. Colorado's goalie issues have been well documented this season.
