Gardevoir Leveling Pain, Pokemon Unite

So, between my teammate doing his best to let the opponents get the xp and then feeding them with their dives. My Gardevoir got stuck at level 4 far too long and was facing level 8 opponents. So, to get out of this situation, you just have to back away and level to Psyshock. Without it you can't hold back a group of enemies. Not having Moonblast to snipe and stun hurts, but you have too many limits without Psyshock to zone away and damage enemies.

So, don't make the mistake of cooperating too much with your teammate. You need level 5 as soon as possible for your lane to survive the early rush.

If you don't. You will spend the next 7 minutes catching up in levels, and the last 2 minutes will require you to wipe the enemy team and score or you lose. You might still lose. Depends how many points they scored while they were running around with a 3-4 level lead on you.
