In 1958 Frank Sinatra and Nelson Riddle reminded people of how great this song is in the album they both consider their best work, "Only the Lonely". It has been covered by innumerable musicians. Favorite versions are by Keith Jarrett, Cannonball Adderley, Marian Mcpartland and more recently, two duo versions, Kristin Bernardi w James Sherlock guitar and Jo Lawry who in the last chorus goes into a great improve reminiscent of Annie Ross.
