Скачать или смотреть UPI Autopay Scam - UPI Biggest Scam on PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm

There's a new UPI Scam that is going on in the market nowadays.

One of the features of UPI is AutoPay that allows users to set up automatic payments to merchants from their UPI-linked bank account. Users can schedule fixed monthly payments, such as subscriptions or utility services, to be deducted from their account on a specific date.

However, the disadvantage of autopay is that scammers who have your UPI ID can send you collect money or autopay requests and if you mistakenly approve these requests, you will end up paying money to the fraudsters.

This scam operates on a simple principle-you are deceived into believing a false story or are caught off guard and approve an unknown UPI collect money or autopay request such as an autopay request for Netflix, Hotstar, Bills, etc.

You can receive this request via SMS or notifications on your UPI apps and it looks exactly like the real request.


To avoid this type of fraud, you should keep in mind that you do not turn on UPI Autopay. Keep checking your active UPI Autopay on your account or your parents account and if you find any unknown autopay, then cancel it immediately.
